Declaration

• • The customer sending the items, guarantees that the item(s) packed properly and in accordance to its nature and adheres to the laws of The State of Qatar.
• • The customer ensures that the items sent don’t contain any Dangerous Goods as per the applicable regulations.

Service Request and Cancellation

• • Our drivers are not expected to carry and load heavy items into the vehicles.
• • A signature is required for any item(s) collected and delivered, if the driver is unable to obtain a signature, the goods will not be collected or delivered.
• • It is the recipient’s responsibility to receive and check the goods, once delivered. Any damages or defects must be reported within 24 hours, and compensations will be decided base on the local regulations in this regard.
• • Once the collection order has been raised online, the order can only be canceled prior of collecting the items by the driver. In case of cancellation upon collection, the full-service charge will be applied on the sender.
• • Our drivers are not permitted to undertake any ancillary service such as construction, installation, fitting, repair or recommendation in connection with the goods delivered. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from such activities.

Payment

• • Customer can only pay online using Credit cards, via the website or mobile app, while raising the order.

Delivery charge

• • There is a charge of QAR 55 for delivery anywhere in Qatar.

Delivery Attempts

• • Only one attempt will be made to deliver to the customer on the agreed date and if the customer or his agent is unable to accept delivery then only one other further attempt will be made on another suitable and arranged date.
• • If any further attempts to deliver are agreed, then an additional delivery charge will be applied, and payment shall be made prior to the arranged date.

Delivery days and times

• • The Collection service starts at 9AM.
• • The cut-off time for creating a request for the same day delivery will be 3PM.
• • Delivery is done within 4 hours from the time when the collection order is raised.
• • The delivery service is available from Saturday until Thursday.

Heavy or strangely-shaped items

• • Maximum weight for the item(s) to be declared and sent shall not exceed 30kg
• • Any item over 30kg will be rejected at time of collection by the driver.

Returns

• • In case, the item(s) are not delivered to the recipient due to their unavailability or rejection from their side after two attempts, the item(s) shall be returned back to the Sender within 48 hours after the second failed attempt, unless a third chargeable attempt is arranged.
• • The Sender will be charged in full for the delivery.

Liability

• • Qatar Post will not liable for any damage, or defects caused due to improper packaging or/and sealing of the items.
• • Customer shall be responsible to notify the driver if the packed item contains item of specific nature or needs to be positioned in a way at time of raising the order and to stick it in a clear side of the item.

Amendments

• • Qatar post may change, modify, amend, or update these terms and conditions from time to time. Amended and restated terms and conditions of use shall be effective immediately on posting.
